Call for Papers

The 2012 Symposium on Application Accelerators in High-Performance Computing will bring together developers of hybrid computing architectures and computing accelerators and experts involved with the development of applications and programming tools on such systems to exchange ideas and discuss issues and emerging challenges. Papers or presentations from technology developers and the academic user community are invited in these general topics:

The conference will be held July 10-12, 2012 at Argonne National Laboratory. Details about access to Argonne and other conference information will be available at the conference web site at saahpc.org. The conference will include keynote addresses by Rick Stevens of Argonne National Laboratory and Andrew Chien of the University of Chicago.

Researchers interested in presenting should submit either a short paper (up to 4 pages, for a poster presentation) or a long paper (up to 10 pages, for an oral presentation), by April 26, 2012. Paper manuscripts should be formatted using IEEE 2-column conference proceedings format. MS Word and LaTex templates can be found here. Submission will be done via the EasyChair conference submission system. When submitting a paper for a special topic, please indicate the special topic in the comments section of the submission form.

All submissions will be reviewed by the SAAHPC Technical Program Committee and accepted submissions will be presented as either oral presentations or posters. Papers presented at the Symposium will be included in the Proceedings published by IEEE Conference Publishing Services.
